Fascinating !!! A friend send me this picture of his a;GRUMH… records in “some old box that had always been in the shed behind his house”. Turns out this is a bow of margarine from the company ALASKA that my grandfather created in the 1950’s. What are the odds ?

Hasard fascinant. Un ami m’envoie une photo de ses disques de à;GRUMH… dans une vieille caisse en bois qui était dans sa remise depuis toujours… Les margarines Alaska ont été crées par mon grand père Fernand Gobert peu après la guerre 40 et étaient hyper connues dans la région. Bébé j’ai même figuré sur une de leurs publicités pour les magazines !! Le hasard veut que ce souvenir familial me revienne avec un souvenir musical, l’ami n’ayant aucune idée de la connection entre les deux. My old friend Tomas Z Westberg has drawn several comic books telling the story of his teen years in 80’s Sweden and his love for EBM and general electronic music including à;GRUMH… whom he became later manager of the Swedish fan club and webmaster.

His books are now regrouped in one big edition translated in English and available for order. It’s a great immersion in the life of young kids in that society four decades ago. Available on pre-order :

PIAS has added all the 12 inches and mini-Lp’s plus the American compilation releases to the various platforms. Enjoy !!

Je suis ravi que PIAS ait ajouté les maxis et mini LP’s sur Spotifaille, Dix heures, Appeule Miouzik et autres plateformes. Enfin toute ma musique est en ligne y compris les biessetries qu’on a publiées en Extra Tracks sur les version CD. Mêmes les compilations américaines sont là ! Manque plus que les Circle Records - Belgium 1986-1991 et les cassettes de Titicaca Records & Tapes (TTKK) pour qu’il y ait quasi tout (you will never have Glädzstock - evil laugh). Yeah !
