Play it again, Sam! just informed us of the forthcoming release of a series of vinyl EP’s to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the label and recording company. This series of EP’s will feature all the iconic PIAS artists and one will be a 6 tracks EP of à;GRUMH… ! More news in the coming months!

My old friend Tomas Z Westberg a.k.a. TΔ25 has drawn several comic books telling the story of his teen years in 80’s Sweden and his love for EBM and general electronic music including à;GRUMH… whom he became later manager of the Swedish fan club and webmaster.
His books are now regrouped in one big edition translated in English and available for pre-order. It’s a great immersion in the life of young kids in that society four decades ago.

This is your chance to participate to the funding and making of the SPECIAL 40th anniversary addendum to the « Au Plan K » book by Philippe Carly, containing à;GRUMH…’s special REBEARTH photo session (nicknamed « The Hanging of J3 » featuring S3, J3 as well as P10 and P8.
The « Au Plan K » book contained all the photos of all the bands who played in this totally mythical concert place active in the 70’s and 80’s, former sugar factory in the suburbs of Brussels, featuring Joy Division, Echo and the Bunnymen, Cabaret Voltaire, A Certain Ratio, hundreds more, and two different concerts of à;GRUMH… plus testimonies and stories from people of the era, and much more.

Now, this is an addendum, to be released for the 40th anniversary of Joy Division’s concert at the Plan K, and it will contain only new unreleased photos of many bands, an interview of Annik Honoré, reproductions of posters. And much more including à;GRUMH…’s « Hangman » Rebearth’s photo session.

“One bear, two Bicycles and one Xylophone” is the first album of Hà; PEOPLE.3.55, released March 13, 2018 on Wool-e Discs.
10 pitch-black tracks on this album which will especially attract fans of early Coil and Throbbing Gristle. The voice of JΔ3 sounds like Satan’s voice, which cuts ruthlessly but with oh so effective sharpness, through the dark soundscapes by JΔ55.
In December 2018, the band performed on stage alongside Adult and Dive at “Magasin 4” in Brussels. JΔ3 sEUQCAJ and JΔ55 eKOJ were joined by CΔ56 sIRC on electronic drums and JΔ57 nEAJ on double bass.
The atmosphere was apocalyptic: crucifix, metal barrel, and projection of a surreal and terrifying film of JΔ55.
JΔ3, once again, proved that he was a charismatic frontman. The audience was overwhelmed by the group’s performance. And wait for the next one …

nEGAPADRES.3.3. has a new album done and ready to be released, but is looking for a label to do so, following the bankrupcy of Hermetique records.
The album is entitled “Binche” and is made of 13 tracks of pure dark industrial music and one “lounge” rhythmic industrial track.

In December 2016, à;GRUMH… performed as headline of the BIMFEST festival in Sint-Niklaas. J3 and S3 came to the stage for a full concert for the first time since 1989 (back in 2014 they had done a “performance” for the Hotel Charleroi art festival at the Coliseum theater in Charleroi but that was just a short happening, not a real concert).
For this 2016 concert, S3 had invited Joke Magnussen to join the band on stage, and J55 eKOJ was born. Following this concert and having had lots of fun in the reharsals, J3 and J55 have started making music together and their new project is called hà;PEOPLE.3.55.
It is made of industrial dark electronic music. They have a Facebook page and a SoundCloud account.

One album is scheduled to be released this year on a belgian label. More news through their Facebook page.
