Release date is now official !!! The à;GRUMH… Release date is now official !!! The à;GRUMH… special #PIAS40 MLP will be available on April 28th 2023 !! Within about two weeks, you should already tell your local record store to PRE-ORDER it ! Some will also be available from PIAS itself but they want to promote the return to local record stores so if tou know one nearby, do that ! Mark your calendars and PRE-ORDER it at the end of this month.

à;GRUMH… the early days. We were first a duo, à;GRUMH… the early days. We were first a duo, P3 and S3 (then called L3 nOEL). We made early numbers were on cassettes that were released on our own label Titicaca Records & Tapes (TTKK) from 1981 to 85. On these you could find ambiant/industrial songs as Ommado-Weiiih that was later released on the Rebearth album (now credited as nEGAPADRES.3.3. ‘s first album) and Mort d’un Ami that later became M.D.A. On the black vinyle / silver circle album. J3 joined the band around the third cassette in 1984. So far he has been a guest singer and had a solo project called Hard Capella. S3 was a member of 37 different bands including his solo projects Gladztok, A Finger Society!, The Penultimate Infinity and Polar Praxis / S3 Evets When we started making EBM style tracks, the first one was Exaction and then Edito. Gina du Plaza and Sucking Energy came next and finally New Fashion. It was time then, to release a record. 😎 P3 left and L3 became S3. Gniiiiiii. P3’s later work was under his solo project Cold In The Head (CITH).

Dwayne Goettel would have been 59 yesterday. He wa Dwayne Goettel would have been 59 yesterday. He was a member of Skinny Puppy, a very creative and talented musician and a marvellous human being, kind, funny, totally charming. But less people know his hidden talent : his farts were legendary. We used to make farting contests à;GRUMH… VS Skinny in the van during the 86 European tour. The rules were fart shooting until somebody can’t take it anymore and rolls down a window. That team would lose the game. I did huge ones but after everybody had, Dwayne would lift his body and emit a tiny little « swRRllpt » that was atomic waste power and that nobody could stand. We lost many times to his deadly poisonous mini farts. What a sweet guy he was. And very beautiful too. Such class. Love you, Duck 🦆 💜 @officialskinnypuppy @cevinkey @belgenion

The test-pressing of the future #PIAS40 @agrumhoff The test-pressing of the future #PIAS40 @agrumhofficial mili-LP has arrived !!! Release 2023 ! ————- Un petit plaisir que je n’ai pas ressenti depuis des années. Le test-pressing du futur mini-album de à;GRUMH… est arrivé ! Un test pressing est un tirage limité d’une dizaine de copies d’un disque vinyle afin que le label, l’éditeur, le producteur et l’artiste puissent écouter et vérifier la qualité sonore, l’égalisation etc. En effet, pour un vinyle, après sortie du mixage final du studio, le graveur doit parfois limiter légèrement les pointes d’aiguës ou de basses afin d’éviter que l’aiguille de votre platine ne saute du sillon ! On doit ensuite en écouter la dynamique, la profondeur etc afin d’approuver avant le pressage effectif de tous les disques. Ce petit plaisir, je l’ai ressenti pour la première fois en mars 1985 lorsque j’ai reçu le test-pressing de notre premier album « Mix Yourself! » qui sortit ensuite en mai 1985. C’est donc 38 années qui sépareront ces deux sorties de disques de ma composition, avec ce mini-LP 6 titres qui sortira en 2023 pour les 40 ans du label Play it again, Sam ! #PIAS40 @agrumh33 #EBM @agrumhofficial
